About the Author
Chris Lynch is the Printz Honor Award-winning author of several highly acclaimed young adult novels, including KILL SWITCH, ANGRY YOUNG MAN, and INEXCUSABLE, which was a National Book Award finalist and the recipient of six starred reviews. this book was realistic in its depiction of war. what i had a hard time with was believing that all four friends would enlist together (especially those who had planned on going to college) and also they all enlisted in the four different branches of the military. not too believable as far as i'm concerned.

I loved this book It was about four best friends that are living in the middle of the vietnam war, but when one of them gets drafted, what will they do to stay together?
